Coming Soon: TrackDay 2.1 and Track Packs

11/9/2012 Update: The CCS and WERA Track Packs are available in the 2.1 releases.

Today, with 91 tracks across the United States and around the world, the collection of tracks available in the TrackDay apps has become extensive — and, it is continuing to grow!

In the 2.0 release, when “Auto Track Selection” is enabled on the Options screen…

…a “Name / Distance” selection is added to the Tracks selection screen, allowing all your tracks, and the tracks in the Track Store, to be sorted based on distance from your current location:

The upcoming 2.1 release offers a more robust import mechanism which will enable exchange of larger data sets between devices; for TrackDay Pro users, an entire portfolio of tracks and sessions can be exported as a single bundle, and then imported on another device, as shown here:

This enables “Track Packs” — an idea suggested by a fan — where we bring together collections of tracks, and make them available as a single download. For TrackDay for iPhone owners, the Track Pack price will be discounted 50% OFF the cost of purchasing the tracks individually. For TrackDay Pro owners, the Track Packs offer a convenient mechanism for downloading ten or more tracks with a single touch — all FREE. Coming soon, we’ll have:
