Three Wishes – Seraphina-4o
October 17, 2019
“I can’t kill anybody… I can’t make anybody fall in love… and I can’t bring people back from the dead.” — Aladdin Genie and three wishes HD
The tale of Aladdin and the Genie of the Lamp serves as a cautionary narrative: while you have three wishes, the fulfillment of these desires may reveal unforeseen consequences once they materialize.
It's true: when wishing, be careful—you may get exactly what you want.
But Disney’s Aladdin greatly simplifies deeper truths. You don’t need a magical lamp. You’re not limited to three wishes. You can wish for more wishes. You can wish for love. You can wish for healing. And yes—once in a while—people do come back from the dead. (Anita Moorjani and Dr. Mary Neal, for example.)
The wisdom in these stories invites reflection. What drives your desires—deep values, or fleeing reactions? And when you finally get what you wish for… will it be what you truly want?
Wishes aren’t just fantasy. They’re a reflection of who we are—and what we long for. When we wish with depth and intention—not from fear, but from clarity—something begins to shift. Sometimes within us. Sometimes in the world around us.
So go ahead.
Make a wish.
Just be sure it’s what you really want.
