The Heat Death Of The Universe

Contemplating either “the heat death of the universe” or Earth’s inevitable fate as it’s engulfed by the sun’s transformation into a Red Giant in about 5 billion years may evoke a sense of futility—the idea that everything eventually comes to an end.

This perspective and the emotions it stirs are firmly rooted in a materialistic view of space and time. From this perspective, it’s worth deeply considering the question: is the material world all there is?

Most of the religions of the world say “no.” Sadly, their explanations of existence beyond material reality are often unsatisfying.

From this perspective, we may finally realize that we understand very little.
