Channeling Matthew McConaughey

For two weeks in Loreto, I listened to Matthew’s book, Greenlights, on Audible. Although I never left the patio of our villa, in my mind’s eye, I traveled the world with him—it was an inspiring journey.

Relaxing by the pool before our drive to the airport, I reflected on my own book draft and heard, in Matthew’s voice:

“Note to self: A man has got to know his limitations—when to respect them, and when to exceed them.”

I learned this on the back of a motorcycle from 2006 to 2021. Pursuing the dreams of a 14-year-old at 41, I discovered that it’s never too late.
